DXMAPS 4.0 |
Thanks to the data collected by DXMAPS in its VHF and UHF QSO database, now you can receive by E-Mail personalized alerts of the propagation openings on the bands you are interested in. Differently from other propagation alert systems DXMAPS will only send you alerts that are meaningful for you. For instance, if you whish, you won't receive sporadic-E or tropo alerts of openings that take place in another part of the continent. This is a global alert system, what means that it works either if you are in Europe, or in America, or anywhere else in the world.
As a demonstration you can see some examples of the E-Mails that DXMAPS would generate for a station located in JM19 square.
If you have already subscribed the alert system you can change your settings or unsubscribe entering below your E-Mail and your Password. If you have not subscribed yet you can do it easily now.Important notices:
E-Mails sent by DXMAPS are sometimes interpreted as "spam" by some anti-spam programs and mail servers. Make sure that none of them is filtering them out. If you don't receive E-Mails from DXMAPS this is likely to be the reason. Some mail servers that block E-Mails from DXMAPS are GMX, ATT, T-Online, Web.de, sbcglobal, bellsouth, bigpond and swbell. If you do not receive DXMAPS E-Mails please contact your mail service provider.
In order to receive the alerts in your mobile phone, it must be capable of receiving E-Mail. Almost all mobile phone companies provide this possibility nowadays, although some of them have an extra cost. If you don't know how to configure it or you want to know the cost of receiving E-Mails please contact your mobile phone company.
Your E-Mail and the rest of the information you provide will not be used for any other purpose than sending you propagation alerts.
DXMAPS.COM is a free service and it will continue being free, however it requires hiring two powerful servers with a cost above US $400 per month. This cost is covered thanks to the donations of supporter users. If you like the service please consider some kind of donation.
